3D FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY – KNAUF THERM

In the construction industry, it can be difficult to showcase the benefits of certain products and technical solutions that are not visible at first glance. For instance, in a renovated house or apartment, the insulating materials used in the walls, under the floor, or on the roof play a crucial role in ensuring comfort, energy savings, and durability of the home.

However, it is not practical to demolish walls, expose the facade, or remove floors to take photos or videos of these products for marketing purposes. Fortunately, there is a simpler and affordable solution to showcase these hidden products and their benefits.

3D graphics and animation provide us with the ability to explore areas that a traditional camera cannot reach. This allows us to showcase building materials, present dynamically forming cross-sections of elevations, uncover individual layers, or even animate the entire construction process of a building from scratch.

Through animation, we can demonstrate your construction products, regardless of how deeply they are embedded within the structure.

For KNAUF’s wall and floor insulation systems presentation, we created an interactive model of a rotating house with a partial cross-sectional view. The final result of the interactive animation is available on the manufacturer’s website.  This solution allows us to display insulating products in various locations of the building clearly on a single graphic.
