CNC animation
that sells —
where the camera can’t reach.

Cross-sections, machine internals, slow motion, 3D explainer video — we show what no photograph can.

B2B 3D Animation Studio

We work from your CAD files.
We are 3D engineers.
We understand your product.

You won’t have to explain how your machine works. A brief takes 30 minutes — not the three days it takes at a general design agency. The result: technical work that makes a complicated process obvious to the person watching.

A picture says more than a spec sheet.

Three animation projects for CNC tool and machine manufacturers. Each solved the same problem in a different way: how to make a technical product engaging and understandable to a buyer.

Why 3D animation

Technical products don’t sell themselves.

CNC technology is full of complex processes and advantages you simply cannot see from the outside. In a few seconds, 3D animation explains what no photo or catalogue can.

👁
Sight is our strongest sense
90% of the information reaching the brain is visual. Animation holds attention far better than any technical write-up.
🎥
Picture beats the language barrier
3D animation works just as well at a trade show in Germany, the US or Asia — with no catalogue to translate. One asset, every market.
Animation is the fastest way to explain
What takes three pages of spec, 3D animation conveys in seconds. It replaces manuals and long descriptions with one clear picture.
📐
4K render ready for anything
One source file — trade shows, website, LinkedIn, printed catalogue. No repeat photo shoots. Product changed? Swap it in the 3D model, not in a new session.
+41%
more qualified leads on pages that use video
+157%
more organic traffic on a product page with animation
85%
of B2B buyers are influenced by video when deciding

Complexity you cannot see

Cutting-edge geometry, precision mechanisms, design advantages — everything that matters is hidden inside. 3D visualization opens the product up and makes its advantage obvious straight away.

Animation replaces the manual

A complicated process becomes readable in seconds — no language needed, no assembly mistakes. One file, every market.

A trade show lasts days. 3D works for years.

Animation works around the clock — in email, on LinkedIn, on the booth screen, in the catalogue. One project, years of use.

How we work

From CAD to finished material in 3–6 weeks.

We work remotely. Brief, CAD files, sign-off at each stage — we handle the rest.

01
Brief and goal

We work out what you want to show, to whom, and in which channels. A 30-minute call is enough. Quote within 48 hours.

02
CAD files

You send CAD files or technical drawings. We import the geometry and build the 3D scene.

03
Animation and rendering

You sign off the storyboard, the previz and the draft at every stage before we go further.

04
Delivery

MP4, MOV, PNG sequences, CMYK PDF — every format for trade shows, web and print. Full licence.

From an idea to a finished animation

CAD files, a sketch, or just an idea — that’s enough to start.

CNC 3D animation — questions and answers

The questions CNC machine and tooling manufacturers ask us most often before a first project.

It depends on how complex the model is and how long the material runs — a 15–30 second product spot and a 60-second technical animation with cross-sections are different jobs. Rather than quote a range that may not fit your product, we give you two honest tools: our pricing calculator for a ballpark in two minutes, and our B2B pricing guide for the factors that actually move the number. A firm quote is free and takes 48 hours once we have your brief and CAD files.

CAD files (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Inventor) speed the work up considerably and bring the cost down — we import the geometry directly. If you don’t have CAD, we can work from technical drawings, photographs or a detailed description instead. Either way, we can rebuild the product in 3D. We explain the whole handover in our guide on going from CAD to a photorealistic render.

The standard turnaround is 3–6 weeks from the moment we have your source material. Simpler projects can be done in 2–3 weeks. Every stage — storyboard, previz, draft — needs your sign-off before we move on.

We deliver in whatever the distribution channel needs: MP4 and MOV for web, social and booth screens; PNG/EXR sequences for further post-production; and versions in different aspect ratios (16:9, 1:1, 9:16). Every project comes with a full licence, with no time limit and no geographical restriction.

CNC technical animation shows how the product works — how the tool operates, the cutting-edge geometry, the machining parameters, the inside of the machine. An ad animation is about looks and emotion. At Modelight we do both at once: engineering precision, presented in a way that stops people at a trade show and on social media.

Yes — we work remotely with manufacturers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and elsewhere. Brief, CAD files and stage sign-offs all happen online. We work in Polish and English, and invoice in PLN or EUR. Pokolm Frästechnik, a German CNC tooling manufacturer, is a client we have delivered several projects for.
