Medica, CEDE, FIBO — material ready for a 4K screen

One film on the booth does more than three conversations with a rep. Animation catches the eye, explains, and stays in the memory.

KAMs & distributors

The procedure in 60 seconds — 3D makes a complicated process simple to explain

A rep who understands the product better than the competition closes more deals. Give them a tool that works on its own.

IFU films & training

The instructions your staff will actually use

Animation replaces a 20-page PDF. Step by step, no mistakes, in any language — from one 3D model.

Selected work · 3D animation

Medical procedures, surgical devices, dental technology — in 3D there are no limits.

Explainer video, product animation and training films for the medical and dental industry. We show what a camera simply cannot — inside a syringe, an implant already in place, the mechanism of a medical device. For distributors, clinical specialists and marketing teams.

Sol-Millennium · Surgical devices
Safety Syringe — the build of an insulin syringe: fixed needle, NO GAP design, locking ring, engagement ring. A product animation with callouts for each advantage, plus the procedure for using it.

Apollo Implant Components · Dental technology
SmartFlag — a digital scanbody system for scanning the position of full-arch implants. An animation of the procedure and how it works, built for technicians and clinicians.

Sol-Guard® Pull Button Blood Collection Set — ad spot plus explainer video. The product won an iF Design Award and Red Dot in 2022.

Selected work · 3D visualization

Visualization replaces the photo shoot — and shows what a conventional camera cannot.

A 3D render isn’t only about looks — it’s a sales tool. Your product in a clinically clean setting, at any scale and from any angle. No prototype, no photo studio, ready before launch.

What you get

One project, working in ten channels at once.

You use the same 3D animation on the product page, at a dental congress, in a distributor presentation, in training for clinical staff, and in a LinkedIn post — at no extra cost.

  • 01

A clinician or technician understands the product in 60 seconds

One coherent visual narrative covers how it works, how to use it, and why it’s better — clearly, accessibly, and without any blood.

  • 02

Your German distributor trains without you in the room

A 3D instructional film works as a standalone training tool — it replaces the assembly instructions. Your product sells in DACH while you get on with something else.

  • 03

A stand at Medica or CEDE that stops people walking past

A moving image against a wall of static competitor banners catches the eye and builds brand recall — with nothing extra to print.

  • 04

PL, EN and DE versions from one 3D model — no photo shoot

One 3D model, swap the voice-over and captions — a full language version without redoing the work. Ideal when you export to several markets.

"In animation we can look inside the syringe itself and show every step in detail — that is something no camera will ever do."

Awards and recognition

We make animation for products that win the world’s major design awards.

Sol-Millennium asked us to produce the animation and visualization for the Sol-Guard® Safety Pull-Button Blood Collection Set. In 2022 the device won an iF Design Award, Red Dot Award and Good Design Award — three of the top honours in product design. If you want material at the level of top-shelf products — get in touch.

How we work

A simple production process

We don’t need full design documentation. A description of the product, the procedure, or simply the goal is enough — we handle the rest.

STEP 01

Brief and goals

You describe the product or the procedure. We agree what the material is for — a congress, the website, training, advertising. No CAD files? Not a problem: we work from documentation, photographs or technical descriptions.

STEP 02

3D model and scene

We build the product geometry and send you a preview to approve — you correct proportions, colours and detail before any animation starts.

STEP 03

Animation and rendering

We create the motion, the lighting, the explanatory graphics and a voice-over if you need one. We render at a resolution ready for trade shows, 4K and online. You get test frames or an animatic to approve.

STEP 04

Delivery and versions

You get a file ready for every channel: MP4 for the website, for trade shows, or a vertical cut for social. On request — PL, EN and DE versions from the same model, with no extra modelling.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions we hear most often before a project starts.

It depends on the complexity of the project, the length of the animation and how much 3D modelling is involved. A 60–90 second film showing how a device, implant or procedure works is quoted individually once we have seen the brief. If you have CAD files of the device, the quote is faster and more accurate. Quoting is free and takes 24 hours — write to us: biuro@modelight.pl

We work from the technical documentation and CAD files you provide. Before any animation, we build a storyboard describing every step of the procedure — you approve it before production begins. You get two rounds of revisions, so you can check accuracy with your own clinical or regulatory team.

Typically 4–8 weeks from storyboard approval. It depends on the length of the animation, the anatomical complexity, and how many revision rounds you need. We can move faster on urgent work — tell us your deadline (a trade show, a product launch) and we’ll check availability.

3D animation earns its place wherever a camera cannot go: inside a device, under the skin, into a blood vessel. The most common uses are congress presentations (Medica, CEDE), material for sales reps and KAMs, IFU instructional films, video for investor decks, and content for the website and social. One well-made film works for years, across several channels at once.

To quote, a description of the project and a rough length is enough. To produce, ideally: CAD files of the device (.step, .stp, .stl, .obj), the technical documentation, and a brief with the goal. If you don’t have CAD, we model from photographs, technical drawings or a sample of the product. Missing documentation has never stopped us starting. We explain the CAD handover in our guide on going from CAD to a photorealistic render.

Yes. We produce visual material for medical device and dental technology manufacturers — for marketing, trade shows and training. Factual content and regulatory compliance always sit with the client’s regulatory team. Clients include Sol-Millennium (whose product won an iF Design Award and Red Dot in 2022) and companies across the DE, AT and CH markets.

Modelight is a B2B studio specialising in technical and medical animation — we don’t do consumer ads, music videos or interior visualization. Every project is run with an understanding of how the device actually works, not just how it looks. 17 years in the industry, 130+ projects, clients in Poland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. If what matters to you is fidelity to the technical documentation rather than an art director’s vision, you are in the right place.
